Executive Director Update

More than 12,444 NYCERS members answered the call and served in the World Trade Center Rescue, Recovery and Clean Up after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Every day we are reminded of their courage, sacrifice and dedication.

NYCERS’ Disability Case Managers continue to support our WTC members who have a verified Notice of Participation and who have filed for WTC disability retirement, ensuring that they receive timely information about their case; assisting them with appointments; explaining the documentation required to support their case; and providing empathetic service throughout the disability retirement process.
